Zakandra chippers are ideal for the shredding of any type of plant residue dry or wet ensuring excellent performance from the point of view of yield (4 to 7 mc3 varies depending on the type of material used) that the working speed. One of the strengths that most distinguishes the chippers Series Zakandra is the amplitude of the loading mouth ("hopper") which remains large even at the cutting point, this means that the machine is able to grind material particularly leafy, such as pruning olive, avoiding clogging and permitting the grinding of large quantities of material at each load with a considerable reduction of working times. The reduction of working times occurs not only for the speed of the grinding machine but also to the fact that the operator does not need to "thin" the material before introducing it into the hopper.
Another important feature of chippers Zakandra is the amplitude of the exhaust pipe that allows the machine to download easily even if the shredded material is characterized by important levels of moisture (eg green leaves, garden waste, etc.). The amplitude of the exhaust pipe is associated to its height and mass reaches 190 cm from the floor (extendable to request up to 2.3 meters), in order to download the shredded material directly into a body.
The cutting system (measuring 360 mm in diameter and 339 mm wide) is composed of four knives (2 +2)-hardened heart mass of cutting, plus a counter-knife hardened. As for the power system, Agrinova has provided two different versions: one as standard, with roll-operated hydraulic variable displacement pump, and an optional anti-stress system with electronic control.
Chippers Zakandra can also be used for the production of wood chips for use as fuel: the particular cutting system of the machine allows to obtain a very homogeneous triturated with sizes ideal for the feeding of certain types of biomass boilers.
Lastly the compactness of chippers Zakandra which is evident also in the possibility of reversing the loading hopper and the discharge pipe reducing the encumbrance of the machine to facilitate the transportation and storage.
